I'm always on the hunt for new podcasts to listen to. And whilst I have not yet got into the big cult podcast series such as Serial, I have found these four which I'm really enjoying listening to. Sometimes, I don't want to listen to music on my morning commute, so listening to someone talking I find really relaxing. I especially love listening to podcasts on long journeys, kind of like reading, but without the effort.
The Simple Sophosticate - I have just discovered this one via The Daily Connoisseur and I am really enjoying listening to tips on living a better life.
Desert Island Discs with Kirsty Young - This programme has so many interesting people featured. Alongside the music snippets there are interviews with various people in the public eye. It is an excellent way to find out more about their lives and their personal memories of the music they have chosen.
Woman's Hour Daily Podcast - I don't manage to get through all of these as they are so regular. But I tend to pick and choose which to listen to from the titles. There are so many interesting topics covered, relevant obviously to us women.
The Frank Skinner Show - You will either love or hate this comedian I think. Personally I love him, I love his dry wit and he has one of those voices that is just immediately funny to me no matter what he is saying. This is only a weekly broadcast from his radio show but I really love it.
