I didn't do too much shopping whilst in Paris. But did manage a very lovely time one quiet morning, in Tiffany and Cartier. I'd had my eye on the Elsa Peretti Diamonds by the Yard range for a while, and decided to wait until Paris where the Euro is currently a little friendlier on the pocket. So with birthday money from my parents, invested in this tiny 0.08 diamond on a gold chain. A perfect delicate and dainty piece I can wear every day, good for stacking too, when I eventually save up my pennies for my next piece. Whilst in Tiffany, my boyfriend suggested I could choose something for his birthday gift to me, so we walked a couple of doors up to Cartier to have a look at the friendship bracelets, which we bought to replace my older Mulberry version. I like the symbolism of the Cartier Love range. I chose the three ring on a black cord, which consists of three bands intertwined in harmony, three colours of gold - pink for love, yellow for fidelity and white for friendship. The staff in both boutiques were so lovely. And even though I was buying from the lower end price range, their attention and quality of service were just what I would expect from such luxury brands. Very lovely Tiffany and Cartier experiences in Paris.
