Last week in London, I also managed to catch up with a couple of blogger friends. Blogger friends that is, who I had never met before. Knowing someone on-line for a while and then eventually meeting up with them, is a rather surreal experience. Almost 'first-date' like. But knowing already that you are both going to have so much in common, having admired each other from afar for so long, makes the process a whole lot easier.
Having planned to meet for a few months and exchanging a few emails to arrange, my visit to London for the Next New In event, meant that finally I would have some time to meet up with Plum of Plumdiddlyumcious. I think I only discovered Plum leading up to Christmas via several social media channels and found her IG feed, Pinterest account and blog to be right up my street. I then discovered she is the founder of Pinned It, Made It and The Stylists Rail and knew I had to meet up with this creative lady. Plum suggested The Biscuiteers near Ladbroke Grove Tube for Afternoon Tea and we spent a couple of hours chatting over a very British tea with a lot of good conversation. Plum is one very creative lady and I found her to be very inspiring and interesting. I could have stayed chatting for a very long time, if I hadn't had my train to race across London to catch.
The tea itself was so cute. A couple of pots of Earl Grey tea and some London inspired biscuits as well as the quintessential Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Sandwiches. Although very small, The Biscuiteers is a place in London I would most definitely recommend. They even offer Icing Classes if you so desire. A very pleasant afternoon, I hope to be able to see Plum again very soon :)
