Yesterday I went to see Wes Anderson's latest offering, The Grand Budapest Hotel. I like my films quirky, which this one most certainly is. Stylistically, it reminded me a little of Amelie and the hotel featured, an older version of London's St Pancras Renaissance. In true Wes Anderson style, this is his best film yet I think. His style is definitely very specific to him and some might say, an acquired taste. Nonetheless, I cannot recommend this film enough. It has only just been released in the UK, so plenty of time left to see it.
