Costumes from Austen

The second part to my recent visit to Belsay Hall, Castle & Gardens was a visit to the exhibition, Costumes from Austen. Although I'm not a huge fan of period dramas, it was still interesting to see the costumes up close. The detail and craftmanship in each piece is quite impressive. And the hall itself is one of my most favourite parts when visiting Belsay. I have seen a couple of fashion exhibitions here before and it is the most amazing backdrop for any art exhibition.
