One of my favourite posts to see is the What's In My Bag feature. I love to see blog posts, YouTube videos, Flickr Groups and occasional features on The Burning House. It's been a while since my last What's In My Bag post, you can check out previous posts here.

The bag I'm currently using is my most recent buy, a D&G tweed bag from Spartoo Shoes. You can see it in closer detail here on this post.

Aspinal of London Men's Wallet, Coin Purse and Travel Pass holder. You can see the TruVirtu Aluminium Wallet in greater detail here.

Moleskine Le Petit Prince diary (post here), iPhone 5 with silver electroplate cover and some pens from Muji and WHSmith.

Snacks for my bag - Snack-size Dried Pineapple (from Sainsbury's), Altoids Mints with a few pieces of chewing gum thrown into the tin too. I think Altoids are a US brand, so I buy mine from Amazon. I love the little tins they come in, which are so handy to use later once the mints have gone.

iPhone accesories - the new iPhone ear-buds, my iPhone 5 again and a little pink case (a free gift with a Valentino perfume - post here), which contains the new charger and also the old charger and plug (in case I am carrying around my iPad which needs re-charging), also a William Morris lens cloth from the V&A - iPhone screens get so dirty!

Liberty of London Make-up Bags

The first make-up bag is like my little emergency kit - Batiste Dry Shampoo, Aesop Rinse-Free Hand Wash, Kleenex Tissues, Muji Bobby Pin Case with multi-coloured clips from Top Shop and a snag-free hair tie from Boots. The comb from Harrop + Penny (you saw me win here), Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, Glass Nail File, Migraleve (I am a regular migraine sufferer) and a little cream suede case (free gift with a Chanel purchase) which I keep things like tweezers, nail clippers, silver tooth pick. I buy my Aesop products from Mankind as they offer free international delivery.

And the second make-up bag contains my everyday make-up that I carry around with me and which changes often. A couple of lipsticks - Top Shop Infrared and Chanel Excentrique. A tube of Smith's Rosebud Salve (bought from Amazon which is a bit cheaper than my last tube from Anthropologie), Nars Multiple Stick in Copacobana (which I have used for so many years and gives a really nice, natural sheen), Chanel Inimitable Black Mascara, Chanel Liquid Eye-liner, a small sample of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle (think I am going to have to buy a full sized version of this at some point - I didn't really like it when it first came out but this sample has changed my mind), a cheek tint from Soap & Glory. And finally a Chanel eye-shadow and face powder with a Chanel kabuki brush (as I don't like the sponge that comes with the powder). More detail on the Chanel products here.

So, that's everything in my current bag. But my bags change often, so there will be more posts to come in the future. Also, if you have featured a What's In My Bag post lately or in the past, do leave a link in the comments section, I would love to see.

I wish my handbag looked this pretty and organised inside. You have this way of making the ordinary, mundane, look pretty and whimsical.
I bought some altoids from either tesco or sainsburys (cant remember which!). Saves you having to buy mints online.
