Morning Routine ~ Brunch in Bed

Photobucket
Or should I say, Brunch on the Bed. My bedroom is probably my favourite room in my house, and I will often go in there at various times of the day, other than to sleep. So sometimes I will read a book or my iPad curled up on the chaise longue in the bay window or even lie back down on my bed and watch some tv or listen to the radio. On this occasion, I had my second breakfast back in my bedroom. I think I saw this cheese/marmalade combination on my Instagram feed and now it is one of my favourites. I also got to try out my new tea strainer from Bellocq (a tea shop which I also found on my Instagram), posted out to me all the way from Brooklyn, NY. As well as having the opportunity of using an array of pieces from my vintage china collection. You know I am such a big believer in the simple pleasures in life, and this is most definitely one of them.

  2. You make something as simple as brunch look beautiful. Cheese and marmalade sounds dreamy, I'm definitely going to give that a try.

  16. Ruby golddust - I love love love your enthusiasm! You'll hate this but I found it at a flea-market for £1. The brand is Sadlers, I have 2 others by them too, I think it is a popular quite inexpensive brand. When I started buying them I did some research and they do come up for sale on eBay. Good luck with your search :-) x
