Gin & Lemonade

Photobucket
TGIF. Which means only one thing, relaxing drinks at home after a hectic week at work. I will be drinking my new favourite drink. New only as this very simple beverage is made with top-notch ingredients - a measure of Hendrick's gin, a slice of lemon and cucumber over ice, topped up with Fentiman's Rose Lemonade. With rose petal and cucumber infusions, the Hendrick's gin is perfectly complimented by the rose and ginger of the Fentiman's Rose Lemonade. Delicious I promise.

That sounds delicious! Will have to try that - when it's a little warmer. Right now I feel more like drinking mulled wine ;-) Have a lovely weekend xo

I love Hendricks. I love rose too. I shall have to try this, but must wait until February because I am alcohol free this month. It was fine until today, because the snow makes me want to have a medicinal brandy, but alas, I have to settle for herbal tea.

Yum -- sometimes I like a cool, citrusy gin drink in the middle of winter, for that summer feeling. My blend of choice is gin, grapefruit soda, and a squeeze of lime juice. Some people call it a Summer Hummer.

I spent all last summer drinking this combination. It was total heaven!

Oh god that looks so good. I'm very quickly trying to decide whether I'd be able to limit myself to just one a week as a treat if I splashed out on a bottle of Hendricks.....
