Diana

Photobucket
These photographs were taken quite a while ago for this post. As part of the Take10 Project, we were each sent a Diana camera from the Lomography Shop - I chose the En Rose pink version of course. I have only just gotten around to digging the pictures out now as a (sort of) New Year Resolution. Apart from the intention to read more books this year, I also want to make use of my non-digital cameras. As well as this Diana, I also own the Fuji Instax and an old analogue Pentax. None of which get used quite as much as they should, despite providing some wonderful results. Due to the costs involved with using them, my mind is always set that the pictures taken should be special. But that just results in a lack of spontaneity and them not getting used at all. Hopefully this year I will make better use of them.

I bought a Diana just over a year ago but the film always gets caught half way through a roll of film and I end up exposing the whole lot getting it out again :( I might by a fujifilm 210 on pay day as they are so fun! love your pink Diana though xxx

I have the mini version of this, I thought it would save me a bit of money as 35mm is still quite available and widely processed although I haven't been taking as many analogue shots as I used to so still haven't finished a roll yet!

I also have my beloved fisheye and my Dad's old Pentax which I think is the same model as yours which we recently got fixed so I can't wait to try that one out again.

I definitely need to start making an effort to take my analogue cameras out more this year to! xoxo

aww I really like lomography cameras, but I never feel like I'm actually a good enough photographer! Plus there's always a little anxiety attached to film cameras - like if the photos don't work when you have them developed and come out all dark I'd be gutted!!

I bought Hollie one a couple of years ago but I've only seen her use it once, you really need the time

Beautiful, so tempted to get one of these. I know exactly what you mean about reverting back to film. I recently loaded up my slr and without even thinking fired off three test shots before looking ta the back! Waaa! It's point to be a hard habit to get out of.
