Petits Fours

Photobucket
For my birthday this year I received from friend Kat, this glorious book of sweet treats. Anyone who has read this blog for a while or follows my Instagram, will know I adore food photography (and eating it) and the sweeter the better. Most importantly the presentation rules over anything else for me, even taste! Things actually taste so much better to me if they look good and are well-presented. If I could live in the world of Sophia Copolla's Marie Antoinette, I would be a happy lady indeed. Now while I may be au fait with how to make cupcakes and the like, I'm not so well practiced in making these decadent and opulent treats. So I have high hopes for some weekend baking, probably as I get into the autumn season, as I love nothing better on a cold winter's day outside, than some cosy baking inside. For the time being, here are some of my favourite pages for you to enjoy.
