Parisian Chic

Photobucket
I finally got around to buying the book I had seen when visiting London, Parisian Chic. I know it's been out for a while but when I browsed the pages in Anthropologie, I decided it was definitely worth buying. Although I wouldn't say I learned anything particularly new from it, I found most of it to be common sense and a lot of what I do already, but the pages themselves are so beautifully illustrated. It's a lovely book to browse through and in itself a travel book to uncover more of one of my favourite cities. Here are a few photographed pages, I didn't want to spoil it too much as I would definitely recommend buying it.

  1. I adore my book, it has to be one of my all time favourites. When I can afford to I want to live in Paris for a month or two using only this book as a guide.

  2. I agree that the content of this book isn't enlightening at all. It's visually stunning- the beautiful red cover, the red ribbon bookmark, and the detailing of the illustrations. But the shops listed and restaurants recommended can be found in any guide to Paris. It makes a good coffee table book, but I think the Olsens' "Influence" is better.

  3. Oh, this makes me want to go back to Paris, though, and explore all the places found in the book. I might have to have a look next time I go shopping! xx
