Flowers Make Me Happy

Flowers don't need to be expensive for me to enjoy them. Only £3 from my local supermarket and already they have brightened up my living room, with the creamy flowers slowly starting to open. Today is the start of a four day Easter holiday where I have made few plans, instead choosing to enjoy pottering around my little flat, maybe pop to the flea-market and possibly even the coast for some mild excercise. In typical British Bank Holiday fashion, today it is damp and dull outside, pouring with rain. So for me, the perfect weather to stay cosy at home baking and drinking hot tea. It's been ages since I last baked, so I will share the results with you very soon. Hope you're all having a lovely Easter break, if you celebrate it.

  5. I agree! I always try to have at least a couple of bunches of flowers around the house. I also dried some colourful ones too just for something extra.

  8. Lovely photos! Your Good Friday sounds great to me - I had a similar day too. Just getting into gardening this year purely because I want to have a cut flower patch so that I can help myself to flowers from the garden! Feel like I'm getting old! Have a great weekend x

  11. Those flowers are lovely! My favourite flowers are usually cheap daffodils or tulips, they never fail to brighten my room and my mood!
