By the River

Photobucket

Last Sunday was definitely the first day of the British summer. We seemed to have (temporarily, I'm sure) bypassed spring and jumped straight from winter, to a rather misty but beautiful summer day. A day in Durham had already been planned, so it was with some luck that the weather happened to be quite perfect for a walk by the river. It had been a couple of years since my last visit, so I donned my newest comfortable flat shoes - black leather flats from Kallisté (which I posted about earlier in the month) - and enjoyed the new season.

  1. The weather looks absolutely gorgeous Paula! I can say that it's definitely Summer in HK but it's far cloudier over here...I blame the air pollution! I'm definitely craving the cleaner, crispier air back home!
