Saturday afternoon lunch yesterday at Six @ The Baltic with some dear friends. Good food (especially the sweet treats) and even better company. No visit is complete without a trip to the bathroom for the most amazing views over the River Tyne, through the huge floor to ceiling windows. One of my favourite buildings in Newcastle, it is always a pleasure to visit whether to dine out, admire the art or visit the gift shop.

Lovely views indeed, and the sweet treats are sooooo tempting!
I grew up really near Newcastle so the Baltic is one of my favourite art galleries! It's such an awesome place :) xx
This place looks amazing, I love a restaurant with clean cut decor!
Wow at the view! one of these days I'll have to venture up North!
Love Six! The views are stunning at night.

That place looks so idyllic! What a great place for lunch!
Newcastle looks so lovely. I had a friend from there for many years, at times I thought I'd visit. Maybe one day I still will (even though we're no longer friends). The food looks delicious and the desserts especially! x
I love Six although I haven't been for a few months, need to do something about that!
Definitely my kind of restaurant - one to add to my must-visit address book. Thanks!

I love the quayside, as I used to live in one of the flats nearby. I just love Sunday walks around the market and we'd end up in Baltic for a coffee and a wander around the gift shop. Such good memories! xxx
