On Wednesday I took a train trip to London to attend a Press/Blogger Event (more on that in another post). Despite only having a spare couple of hours before the event, I still managed to squeeze in a very fleeting visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum. Probably my most favourite museum, it had been a few years since my last visit and although there weren't any specific exhibitions on, I decided that I was long overdue a return anyway. As usual, I misjudged how long it takes to get anywhere in London, so by the time I got there and had a bite to eat, there was only really time for a walk around the ground floor and a quick browse in the gift shop. Next time, I will dedicate a day to all of the museums around the area which are in such close proximity of one another. Hopefully then there will be an amazing fashion exhibition on too!

Gosh I haven't been there in years one of the things I miss most about living in the city is that if I have nothing to do I can just go spend the day wandering round museums xoxo

I love the Victoria & Albert, I think it was one of my favorite museums I went to when I was in London!
Oh I adore the V&A, I'm impressed that you managed to visit before the event! I love that chandelier and I can't wait for the fashion exhibits to reopen again, will be good to see more of the fashion that they have in storage out on show!
What a beautiful museum! I have to visit one day!

That massivle, sea inspired glass piece by Chihuly is absolutely amazing. I went to see an exhibition by him in the Halcyon gallery in London the other week. Mesmerizing!

Ah, I love the V&A! I went to college in London for a little while, and took a Renaissance art class that met in the V&A every week. Your photographs made me very nostalgic. Beautiful work!
