One of my essential things to do whenever I visit London, is to call in to my favourite department store, Liberty of London. I love everything about this old store. It has remained traditional while at the same time stocking some of the most amazing pieces, the buyers are always so spot on. I also like the fact that their Liberty fabric is steeped in history and tradition and I love nothing more than browsing the fabric department or picking up other Liberty momentoes.
Pin Cushion from the Habberdashery department. Pencil case (which I use as a handbag tidy). Hello Kitty for Liberty tote bag - a gift from Kat. A scarf I treated myself to just before Christmas. Loyalty card. Fabric scraps. Notebook. Votive candles. Note block. Plastic bag.

Oh, I do like Libery... I just have to be careful not to end up there too often ;-) You have some great finds there.
Hope you had a lovely Christmas and 2012 will be fabulous for you xo
I love that store too! Everything is so beautiful and precious

That pin cushion is to die for and your nails look great as always!
Everything looks wonderful! I've never gone into Liberty, I find this silly as I go past it so often. May have to pop in next time I go past.

it's the beautiful little luxury items like these that always make me smile when i see them around my room. :) their buyers really do have excellent taste!
I adore Liberty's! While at Uni I made a collection using Liberty's prints and fabrics! There so de-vine! I love that note book! x
That peacock scarf and those candles are to die for!
I love the Liberty and Hello Kitty collab, the pencil case as a handbag tidy is such a good idea! Liberty is such a quirky place to look around, right int he heart of the hustle and bustle but the building has so much history- I personally adore the creaky floorboards and looking down from the balconies!
Positively beautiful little treasures. I love the candles and the crown pin cushion... so darling!

Liberty has the most delightful things. The candles are so pretty. They must smell nice;-)
I love Liberty. Looks like you got some beautiful pieces. I love that pin cushion.
you made the most of your visit. it's somewhere we always make the effort to visit when we're down. last time i was looking for some fabric for a pocket square
That peacock print candle box is STUNNING! I love Liberty, if Breakfast at Tiffany's had been set in London instead of New York it would have been called Breakfast at Liberty - it has the same refined, calming atmosphere.
Cute little thingies.. love the crown especially!
Happy New Year to you darling!

That pin cushion is just divine. LOVE!
I agree - a trip to London is not complete without a visit to this gorgeous shop and of course tea and cakes in the café!

And speaking of your nails, would you mind sharing with us what kind of base and top coats you use when doing your manicures?

I visited Liberty's for the first time last week, love it! Gorgeous prints and love the candles!
I can't believe I forgot to go to Liberty while I was in London! I realised on the plane home and nearly started banging my head on the seat in front of me haha. All the more reason to save up for a return visit, I say!
I love the Liberty print. I saw some of the Hello Kitty stuff in boots and was definitely tempted!
Loved this post hunni as I love liberty lots too as you know, so interested to see all your various fabric bits and the unexpected delight too, at seeing the little things I've sent you over time, including the bag. Hope it pops in your bigger bag and is useful on your trips. It's a subtle hello kitty and pink and a bit like a bow when sealed up so made me think of you :)
