I knew the recent mild temperatures were too good to be true. I was harshly brought back to reality this morning when I had to sit for fifteen minutes waiting for my car to defrost before heading out to the flea-market. I decided to layer with a wool jumper that always keeps me warm and a cosy fur stole, as well as some comfortable zipped ankle boots, a recent acquisition by the brand Ash as part of my monthly Spartoo shoe shop. Today is one of those days that despite the bright sunny weather, it is actually quite unpleasant to be out, it is so cold. So I fully intend to spend the rest of the weekend at home, cosy and warm, drinking lots of cups of tea.

That fur stole is simply beautiful - and I'll check out Ash when I'm doing my next Spartoo monthly - I ordered some new Uggs yesterday as mine are totally knackered!
Your stole is fabulous - love the colour! We've chosen today to install a new radiator so NO heating at the moment - yay, so happy....!!

is has got cold hasn't it, i quite like it actually. the cold snap in the mornings when it's sunny is great, but when the wind hits or even rain/snow then it sucks. very elegant as always, especially like the zip pull thing

I feel you, really. Last week was ridiculously warm here too (and I hated it). But for the last two dys, it's been snowing non-stop and it's freezing out. Even though I feel bad for the homeless and animals out there, I'm selfishly pleased that January started to look like winter finally. Have a warm Sunday! x
