Brighton Pier on Film

What could be better, on a gloomy day in the deepest darkest depths of January, than to revisit a hot sunny day spent on Brighton Pier? So far, my short relationship with my first analogue camera has been rather temperamental. This is only my second roll of film and it was not without trouble. I took my Pentax ME on my visits to both Brighton and Paris last year but for some reason, once I got the roll of film developed, these seven shots were the only photographs to take. Very strange. So no 'Paris on Film' to share disappointingly. But, I love the results of this camera so much, I will eventually get around to getting it fixed!

I have an old camera that used to belong to my Grandfather - I've started using it so we'll have to see if it still works!

  11. Beautiful as always! In fact it makes me quite envious because we are supposed to be in the middle of our summer here and yet it has rained for a month non stop and isn't supposed to end until March!

  16. that's the worst part about using film, you can take photos you really like and then never get to see how the turn out. :( it's such a shame! these ones are lovely though.

  17. I adore these kinds of images - it seems so long since i last visited the coast, and our brooding winter days just happen to be my favourite for photography (that is if you manage to catch the light at all!).
So perfect! I would love to visit Brighton one day!

Best wishes for the new year x
