Home Sweet-Smelling Home

Photobucket
I'm not sure what it is about this time of year but all I want to do is stay at home and 'nest'. Obviously the cold weather outside has a lot to do with it and the crazy Christmas crowds in the shops make me savour the calm, relaxed surroundings of my own home. And with this comes the necessity to update my interior with small but significant finishing touches. As a result, I decided to treat myself to a couple of pieces from the Ladurée Home Fragrance collection. I chose Caprice de Ladurée fragrance and the Délice de Ladurée candle. Not only is the packaging traditionally exquisite but the fragrance around my home is now so delightful.

  8. such beautiful looking and probably smelling things - am all over anything Laudree atm, having just discovered its wonderfulness, so these are right up my street...especially the spray with the tassels! Reminds me of a perfume sprayer my mum had when I was little and I loved but was never allowed to touch!!

  14. Oh so gorgeous and elegant! Much as I love Yankee candles (and I do - they burn in every single room of my house except the kitchen, a different fragrance in each room) they don't look as stylish, even when I use my Yankee lamps. Currently my kitchen is eclipsing all yummy smells though - just made my mince pie mince - apples, rose petals, dried fruits, cranberries all fragrant with sugar and spices and brandy cooking off. Oh so Christmas!

  15. Laduree does fragrance?!?!? That must be truly delicious. I've caught the nesting bug, too (and a nasty cold with it).

  19. Stunning pics! I must agree-I am the same as you and love nothing more than staying in, cuddled up on the sofa near the roaring fire, with some festive candles burning and just enjoying a good film or getting into a great read :) xx
