Shades & Champers

Photobucket
What better way to kick-start my trip to Paris by Eurostar, than a visit to the Champagne Bar in St Pancras Station, wearing my new Etnia Barcelona sunglasses. This is a new-to-me range from Spain that offers both sunglasses and prescription glasses. As my eyes suffer from light-sensitivity, sunglasses are always one of my most used accessories, so it is nice to have several pairs to choose from. I particularly liked this pair, that I chose for the shaded gradients on the frame. They are in a simple style that I favour and a good size frame for my face that I think I will be able to use with many an outfit.

With an hour or so to kill, we ordered the Pommery's Seasons Tasting tray which offers samples of Autumn, Winter, Spring & Summer champagne along with a small dish of chilli roasted broad beans - delicious! St Pancras is such a beautiful train station. It is so calming, if that can be at all possible in a travel environment, so the perfect beginning for a trip by Eurostar. And the architecture is just stunning, I particularly like how my new shades picked up the reflection of the station ceiling!
