This is what I wore yesterday to... well, not do a whole lot actually. I took advantage of a parental visit to get a few outfit pictures taken. It was a sunny day, not particularly good for taking photographs so I tried to hide somewhat in amongst the ivy which cast a small shade for me to stand.
I did get to try out these platform sandals which are surprisingly comfortable to walk in, I definitely see them getting a lot of wear over the coming months, as I like them just as much with tights too. And although I'm not a big fan of 'current trends', I have embraced the maxi dress to a certain extent. It's a cool cover up for summer without me having to worry too much about baring my white limbs!

Not feeling many of the current trends either, but I am liking the whole maxi thing. It makes a nice change and I find that maxi have more cross over for work/social use as the cover enough up for the office. Loving your striped one, very nice.

Oooh, a fellow maxi fan! That is a very pretty dress, and I love the stripes :) And I agree about the easiness of the maxi - it's a great cover-up for us pale girls, and has the added bonus of hiding hairy legs ;)

I so know the white limb story. Yesterday a lady whispered a comment as I walked in the forest with my hubs. "Elle est blanche", she is white. But then again, that makes me 'me' (special) and I do not go unnoticed.

kayhryn - thank you! they are surprisingly comfortable, they look high but the platform sole means the arch is not as high as it might be otherwise
