It has become my tradition, that each time I am in a city with a Ladurée Tea Room, I pay it a visit. One day I would like to say I have visited them all but so far my count is five. I knew a new shop was due to open in Covent Garden but didn't realise it already had, thanks to this post , so paid it a visit when I took a day trip to London a week or so ago. Upon every visit, I like to try a different cake before purchasing tea and macarons on my way out. This time however, I bought the Ladurée Saint-Honoré without realising until later that I had already sampled it before. Nonetheless it's delicate rose scent was once again a treat for the senses. And this was after I tried for the first time, one of their savoury offerings. In this case a Smoked Salmon Club Sandwich. I have to say, although incredibly expensive, it is the best sandwich I have ever eaten!

  4. I love Laduree! Was in Harrods yesterday and "accidently" wandered into their cafe. I have never tried a savory, and if I'm ever treated to an outing I may just give it a go.

    And - lovely photos.

  13. Laduree is always a delightful place, no matter which city it is, be it Istanbul or London or Paris! (I rhyme now.) The photos made me want to eat a delicious strawberry tartine now, off to the patissarie.

Was in London this week and did not know about the Covent Garden addition. I photographed horse sculptures around the city!

  33. gasp!! That is definitely on my list of things to do next time I'm in London! I love Laduree, but the one in Zurich doesn't have its own tea room - considering I am already in love with the place, that sounds like an unmissable experience :-)

  34. I have heard so much about this place, but this is the first time that I've actually been able to see it, thanks to you. I have actually seen that happening a lot when I'm at your blog. You always find places to visit that I've always longed to see. :)
