The inspiration behind this collection is quite fantastical, a curious blend of retro-romance and future chic, kind of like mixing the wardrobes of Betty Page and Ziggy Stardust together!
I introduced you to the Mimco promotion, Whispers & Anarchy the other day with a brief synopsis of the story behind the promotion. When it came to styling my own shoot, my thoughts were very much in the Beatnik era of the 50's/60's as well as being inspired by the Mimco video itself, strolling through the leafy streets of Paris - check it out for yourself below. I chose another bag from the collection, a very striking mustard leather pouch bag, which I see being a stylish accessory for many more outfits to come.
