It is so rare to have good weather for Easter, apparently it has not been this hot since the 1940's. So to make the most of the warm weather before it turns into the cold and wet Britain that we know and love, my family and I went along to The Botanic Gardens and Oriental Museum at Durham University in the North East of England, not far from where we live. The gardens were just the right size for a walk around and some picture taking, with lots of stop offs at garden benches, to eat a picnic and a browse in the gift shop.

For possibly the first time on on of your posts I'm able to say 'Ooh - I've been there!' I went a couple of years ago when I was visiting a friend who lives just outside Durham. It's such a lovely place, an the flowers look gorgeous!

Wow, what a beautiful setting for the pictures and a walk over a beautiful Easter. I spent the sunniest and loveliest Easter sunday in the garden with a book in the language of my own choice and home made ginger beer. Bliss.

normalityandme - the gardens weren't very big & actually not that much was in bloom, although i liked what i saw. we did comment that they could have made much better use of the gardens!
the jumpsuit is wicked, pretty snazzy for next i must say. it's not a shop i go in much other than for xmas gifts. this place is a part of the uni, how ace. i hope you bought the harmonica, i sure would have
