This month's Take 10 challenge is a tapestry bowling bag from Matalan. Although not a piece I would immediately have chosen for myself, I was excited nonetheless to put together an outfit around it. This month we are welcoming Harriet to the group who is taking over from Jazmine. See above for how the rest of the girls styled the piece - Sherin (Hi-Fashion) ~ Ellie (Pretty Much Penniless) ~ Vicki (Magpie Girl) ~ Sarah (We Shop) ~ Harriet (Where's Harriet) ~ Sabine (Psynopsis) ~ Jen (A Little Bird) ~ MJ (Dreaming Spires) ~ Adele (Moltocuriosa).
An image of old-fashioned carpet bags came to mind, which I think the bag is quite similar to. And with that, an image of musty old books. What better place to stage a little shoot than the Lit & Phil in Newcastle upon Tyne as promised to you last week.

Top Shop blouse & shorts ~ Ebay turban ~ Luxxor Vintage cameo brooch ~ Matalan tapestry bowling bag ~ Tabio 110d tights ~ Jeffrey Campbell platform shoes ~ Vintage ring ~ MAC compact & lipstick (Pictures of me by dad)

The bag wouldn't be my first choice, either, but you've done it exquisite honor with your dark, luxurious photos! Love the striking turban on you, and the peach, ivory, navy, and silvery black palette. My favorites are the lipstick and compact with the old book, and you using the compact and lipstick. I look forward to your next Take 10 ensemble!
How cool are your pictures? I especially love the one where we can see your bangs and eyes (the one that's cut off below). So pretty!
