Style Icon ~ Grace Coddington

Today I wanted to direct you to a great piece on model turned stylist Grace Coddington. I think anyone who watched The September Issue could not fail to be charmed by her personality and genius creative talent. She is currently the cover star of Intelligent Life, The Economist's lifestyle and culture magazine. The cover story is a memoir by acclaimed biographer Julie Kavanagh, who has been friends with Coddington since working with her as an assistant at UK Vogue in the 1970's. Coddington has led an amazing life working in fashion with many great names touching her world - read here for the full piece.

And I'm a little late posting this but I also wanted to thank Claire at Style Clone for cloning my style, a great site for style tips. Check out my feature here, you may remember it from this post.

So, a lazy post on this lazy Sunday. Over the last few months I seem to have developed some kind of wrist strain, I'm guessing down to the many hours I spend on a computer. Over the last couple of weeks it has gotten progressively worse, so I am making a conscious effort to try and keep off the computer as much as possible to give my arm a rest in the hope that it will get back to normal as soon as possible. If I appear a little absent, this is the reason why although I am still trying to keep up as much as possible.

And finally, my prayers are with those in Japan, sometimes it feels like a very cruel world we live in.

  12. Grace > A-dubz any time! Also, is it wrong that a major reason I love her is because she's ginger?

  14. Oh no, i hope a rest helps your wrist paula. Perhaps different seating might help, if you were higher or a different position at your desk?
I get terrible headaches which aren't helped by pc use. but it's hard to stay away sometimes ;)
