Trying out this tutorial. Listening to records. Eating cherries. Faux flowers. Books from the library. Eating leftover Christmas chocolate. Cute bow slippers. Re-watching old classics. Lots of pots of tea. Collecting vinyl. Journal writing. Charity shopping.

  8. Your blog always makes me so happy! I love J.D. Salinger to pieces, he's my favorite writer. Have you ever read Raise High the Roofbeam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction? Seymour especially is fascinating. And I love Godard, and Leonard Cohen. And I just recently did my nails like Alix, too! So many lovely things...

  36. I tried a similar tutorial about one year ago. I still even have the circle stickers, a full pack because I only did it once and I was naughty and didn't let my nails dry long enough and so it didn't work out very well. I ought to try it again. And speaking of Godard, I recently watched Breathless. It was my first viewing of any of his films and I would love to watch more but have trouble finding them (to rent rather than buy) in the U.S.
