11.00am - Early maybe but a little beverage on the plane is a must

Photobucket

12noon - Still in the air

Photobucket

1.00pm - We're now an hour ahead and a final lipstick touch-up before landing

Photobucket

2.00pm - I know I'm in Spain when I see palm trees and a Mango billboard at the airport

Photobucket

4.00pm - We find a cheap and cheerful tapas restaurant

Photobucket

5.00pm - The first of my tapas arrives

Photobucket

6.00pm - We start walking around

Photobucket

7.00pm - The architecture is simply breath-taking

Photobucket

8.00pm - Another cafe stop for coffee and cakes

Photobucket

9pm - The Christmas lights are so pretty

Photobucket

9.30pm - We stop for a photograph at the most stunning staircase

Photobucket

9.45pm - More walking around - it's the best way to see everything

Photobucket

10pm - We call into what looks like the opening of a Costume Gala and I quickly take some final shots of the day of the beautiful clothes.

  9. Oh your photos make me wish I was back in Barcelona! What a fantastic city. Unfortunately living in NZ means that we can't just pop over to a different country for a few days. Everything requires a LOT of organising, time and money.

And kudos for the Baileys. A quick tipple on the journey has got to be done.

  29. The exhibit that you happened upon is about fashion in Spain during the last century. I don't know if you managed to get inside, what with all the people, but there are some really beautiful pieces on show.
