Still another couple of posts left from my trip to Barcelona, I wanted to space them out so you wouldn't get too bored! But I couldn't help but take a look at my favourite shop in the world...Chanel. I'm building a small collection of different Chanel windows from the places I visit. Although I wasn't in a position to buy anything on this occasion, it was still fun to look at the beautiful pieces and dream. I completely fell in love with the little Coco dolls and gift tags. The boutique itself was quite small and actually didn't stock too much, although they were in the process of extending the store. So definitely worth another visit in the future.

  1. I agree - those dolls and gift tags are absolutely precious. Wonderful photos, as usual! We have a Chanel boutique here in Dallas, but I am too shy to walk in there to just LOOK, much less take pictures! Love your blog as always~

  9. I adore Chanel. Karl walks a fine line-- His pieces are unusual, but manage to look classic at the same time.

You have fantastic taste, Miss Pinkbow. I want to steal all of these for my inspiration folder ♥

  11. Aren't those little Coco dolls just darling? I photographed them a few weeks ago when they were on display at the Chanel store in Paris. I must admit though that it looks like the Barcelona store had a little more fun with it. Thanks for sharing :) Paris in Pink

  13. It's interesting how Chanel manages to keep the same vision in every store around the world. The London and Hong Kong windows were identical to this one, right down to the outfits and little Chanel dolls. I so wish they would have sold them... I know they sold the original prototype for charity but they could have made a full-blown charity campaign out of it...

  18. Whoa, a real Chanel boutique.. I don't think I have even seen real Chanel garment ever in my life.. I'm a bit surprised about the ugliness of the clothes dolls, but I guess awesome clothes make up for it, right? :)

  19. Just to clarify, I didn't mean the Coco dolls, but the ones they put clothes on! :P They are just so stiff and weird... But Coco doll, that's a different story altogether! :)

  39. So striking! As a child of the 80s, I'd long felt that Chanel was too wealthy lady-lady for me, but I truly like the edgy rock-and-rollish stylings in this window, and the dollies are adorable!
