Our full first day in Barcelona was spent doing the tourist must-haves. High up in the mountains, looking down on to the harbour...I wish we'd had time to ride in one of the cable cars. Park Güell, the amazing Gaudi designed park, again I wish we'd had more time to visit Gaudi's house. The amazing construction of La Sagrada Família, which my fixed lens didn't quite manage to capture the whole of. Strolling down La Rambla and exploring the Gothic Quarter.

A wonderful city, that my boyfriend know by heart (he comes from South of France, so it's really close : 2h by car).
I want to go back, and see what I couldn't see!

How I miss Barcelona so! I am very awed by Sagrada Familia and spent a lot of time staring at its splendor.

Beautiful photos - you've really captured the spirit of Barcelona, and this mix of the Guadi modernism and gorgeous gothic old parts
So atmospheric and haunting, capturing a truly fantasian city - not one's usual tourism photos! It delights me that someone like Gaudi had the financial and civic support to express his visions on such a grand scale.
