Wishing you all a Happy Halloween! Do you have any plans this weekend to celebrate? It seems in the UK, that this is a holiday we are starting to celebrate more like our US counterparts. Any excuse for a special day and I'm in. Although I don't really have any special Halloween-related plans this year. Last year, the day landed on a Saturday so we hit the town. But town on a Saturday night filled with girls wearing red devil horns wasn't really my thing! I will be a little more low-key but I did manage to find this photograph I took last year of a cobweb on my car one damp and dewy morning and thought it looked quite spooky!

Wonderful photo.
Not a great event halloween in Spain, mainly for children.

Halloween is not really my thing...and I have to work this weekend! :(
I guess it's getting bigger and bigger over here as well...there are a lot of Halloween themed parties!
Enjoy your weekend!

I'm braving Newcastle tonight but setting up sanctuary in the Tyneside Cinema bar for some scary movies and halloween cocktails!
Have a lovely Halloween :)

I bought some pumpkin-shaped gingerbread biscuits from Waitrose but that's about it! Have a good weekend.
wow, i thought you photoshopped it but it's actually a real cobweb. nice.
Katiecakes - I saw that advertised, good choice. I'm going there tomorrow, not sure if there's anything on though!
That's such a cool pic!! Happy halloweekend:)

Happy Halloween! I do rather wish we made more of a big deal about it here in UK, it looks like one of the funnest holidays!
Great photograph.
It's not my thing either, I go out having fun all the time, I don't need an excuse. xxx
Hola my dear, it has been too long since I visited your blog last time, I've been baking cupcakes and cakes like crazy recently...
Hope we'll " meet" on a virtual coffee party again very soon:)
This is such a great photo! We're all raring to go in France with Halloween. It's definitely getting more and more popular over here now - hurrah! Any opportunity for a party and I'm in....! x
Happy Halloween lovely!

i will just be handing out candy to the little one.
Happy Halloween. <3

Beautiful spiderweb catch! My small children will dress up as a monarch butterfly and a baseball player and go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood with my husband.
I want to really goth out with all my gear from times past, pony falls, tiara, paleface, black ballgown skirt, and everything, as it's been years since I did so and goth is still considered a costume in my current town. Not sure I'll have time for that, though. I may just be wearing a rhienstone spider brooch when I hand out candy at our front door.
what a beautiful photograph and for me, no plans for halloween either, but like you say sporting some devil horns...hideous, or the frilly knickers that many tend to favour really isnt me!!
I would love a romantic candle lit dinner in old edwardian costume as an alternative!Hope you have a great weekend and quiet halloween Katie.xx

That's a gorgeous picture! I plan on staying in this Halloween and hopefully eating all the chocs we bought for the trick or treaters (fingers crossed they don't turn up!)
Great photo!

You are stunning with a bun. Paris doesn't really do Halloween. I'll drink a glass of wine. It'll be sweet.
Ahh I love Halloween! I'm trick or treating and watching scary movies all night with a good friend of mine :)
this spiderweb pic is cool! i have a bunny costume and no party to wear it to tonight! :-(

Last year I went to a Halloween ball in Central London, but that was more of a coincidence because my BF was playing in the band there. No plans for this year and I don't mind, it's not really something I'm too bothered about. That photo is great, so much better than all those deliberately spooky things... Have a great Sunday, Love from London x
Happy Holloween to you too... (said scoffing cupcakes, yum) x
Cool pic, Paula! Spooky indeedio:)
Happy Halloween !! ♥
I know what you mean! I can't stand seeing girls aren't being creative with their red devil horns. I mean, there are still many more costumes!
Too bad we don't really celebrate Halloween over here :(
love yourphotos!!
