Mimco - An Unpredictable Revolution

I was very excited when approached by Autralian accessories label Mimco, to choose an item to style. Mimco is a label that I was unfamiliar with but it is soon to launch in the UK and browsing their website, it is an accessory-lover's dream. Just check out the video at the bottom to see their dreamy aesthetic.

Of course being the bag addict I am, I chose this Corset Day Bag. It really is stunning... deceptively roomy with some great details and the choice of three strap lengths, it's going to be a great addition to my handbag collection. I wanted to style the piece simply so as not to detract from the bag itself, so chose a very basic dress in a colour which hopefully shows the detail of the bag.

What I also loved about the 'An Unpredictable Revolution' promotion, was the old-style hollow book with the fabric and old key - items I have been searching for myself that I see being styled in other projects.

I have this dress, I've got it in cream, I haven't seen it available in this colour, I prefer it! How annoying hah, and yes it creases like a bitch!
The bag was a great choice, I love the detailing x

I've been seeing Mimco a lot recently! I love that bag. It's unusual, but useful! Perfect criteria for a day to day bag.

And that is such a beautiful pink dress.

Beautiful! I love the soft cameo pink against the moody blacks and greys. I found your blog via Bardot in Blue's sidebar, and am glad I did -- it's one of the select few I'll continue to follow daily if possible! I like the texture of your photographs, as well as the look mix you've developed: sometimes bombshell, sometimes bohemian and romantic, sometimes modern, and all with that wonderful hair!
