Project 365

Photobucket

Today I finally finished my Project 365 on Flickr. A whole year of a photograph a day which I decided to begin on my birthday last year. Quite a challenge and one I am so pleased to have finally completed. My main concern was remembering to actually take a photograph a day, I have a terrible memory but somehow I managed to get into the habit of it. The winter time was particularly difficult due to light constraints, you don't realise quite how important light is in photography.

I started the Project to encourage me to take more photographs and try and learn about light, composition, understanding my camera as well as gaining inspiration from others on Flickr. I would definitely say that I have fulfilled all of the criteria and would recommend it even though it is quite a commitment.

Congratulations! I've just been looking at your set and your photos are wonderful. You've done a great job! I started this project and gave up due to harsh personal stuff, but I hope to start again at some point :)

Oh how I wish to be in England right now! (I know, I say it every time I write a comment on your blog ;-)

Congratulations!
I really have to force myself to think about taking a picture, I can't get to one a day! Great accomplishment!

I've been telling myself fooooorever that I'd commit to a photo project like this, but it's still on the backburner for now. I'm definitely checking out your photos on Flickr, though, and maybe it'll finally be the motivation I need!

I enjoyed looking through your project photos. This sounds like something I would enjoy if I knew I would follow through for the entire year.

Wow! You ought to make a YouTube video just running through all the photos--I'd love to see that :)

I am a fan of good photography though I am not a photographer, not even an amateur. Who says interest in this art is exclusive to those who knows how to operate Nikons and Canons?

Congratulations! Someday, I'll try to learn and do the same project for self improvement.
