A Morning in Tynemouth

Photobucket
On Saturday morning, my dad and I visited nearby coastal town Tynemouth, situated in the North East of England. I visit here often and have posted about it before. We had a walk around, photographing what took our eye, stopped for coffee in lovely chocolatier Gareth James, as recommended to me by Becky and scoured the flea market for treasure, resulting only in a few stems of peonies, a small pastel flower dish and a tiny fawn to add to my collection. The sun was shining, it was a lovely way to spend a morning.

  5. Beautiful Tunic. What I love in your style is it's uber feminine and I can see so much nudes and pastels and vintage pieces.

On another note, who owns that house? It looks marvelous in the outside with its pink walls and black windows. It has this cute little archway too.

  34. I like the tea cups!! I decided to do that too, although I don't think I have headed for fine bone china- I don't mind as long as the pattern is pretty. I have some photos on my blog- I did a flea market haul at this really huge market here. Really interesting stuff in Berlin. The only dissapointment is the tea just does not taste good here- its the water. I know it.

And blogging in summer? Hmm, yeah, same problem. Summer calls!

  43. Oh, I love Tynemouth Market! I never get a chance to visit any more as I work most Sundays.

Pretty haul! I've had to stop buying vintage crockery for fear of my kitchen collapsing in on itself.
