Feeling Sad

Photobucket

Today I have had a sad day, do you ever have those? I had a wander on my lunch hour and found this little vase in a charity shop and then popped to the market for some flowers. Flowers are always a good cheer-up I think.

So after all of your marvellous perfume suggestions in my last post, I thought now would be a good time to ask what you would like to see more of in the blog. What you like, what you don't like... your input is so very important, I would love to hear what you think.

Today has been my sad day too :( Sometimes I think, how can I be so sad when the weather is so beautiful?

I love everything you post but most of all hearing your likes and dislikes!

I always have fresh cut flowers in my house - definitely a mood enhancer! Love the vase - hope it helped cheer you up :-)

What a beautiful vase!! Great find! Flowers do cheer up the day. I've had a sad week but I'm trying to cheer up. Watching youtube videos that you know will make ya laugh help & talking to people on the phone that you know will make you smile too help! =)

Sorry to hear you've been feeling sad, I've been feeling harassed today! The flowers are lovely, hope they cheered you up. I love reading everything you post, I especially like the 'corners of my home' and 'city guide' posts.

I'm the kind of girl who believes that flowers make most things better. I've been known to buy them for myself if I'm having a bad day. My favorites are peonies...

In answer to your question, I think you're doing a pretty fantastic job with your blog, and my favorite posts are when you do lists with photos, sort of like your perfume post. Those are the best!

I wish you a better day tomorrow! Know this: your blog brightens my day...I so love your photos. Love the posts where you share your fashion/style, and where you are by the hour on a particular day.

Hope that makes you smile! Your blog is one of the very few I have a link to from my blog, so that's saying something!

I often buy flowers on my sad days! And the vase is amazing :) Hope you have a happy day tomorrow!

I hope tomorrow is a better day. Sometimes a good-night-sleep puts it all behind!
On your blog I love to see your posts of beautiful pieces and the pictures of gorgeous places in England:)

I love the flowers! I had quite a cheerful day and may start hinting how pretty those flowers are hehe

I think it has something to do with Tuesdays. Flowers, tea and comfort food such as mashed potato - its the only cure for sad days!

Your blog is always on my must-read list. I especially like your posts showing your days out an about with photos of what you see every hour or so.

I think I have, not sad, but many quiet days; thinking days. I love you blog as well, but I think product information always solidifies my love for my favorite blogs. I love hearing about products, clothing, beauty, ect, that I've never heard of before, or maybe forgotten about. Also I love seeing your fashion posts.

much love,
kirstine.

I'm having a sad month - just turned 30 and trying to get a new job - but am a journalist so it's basically impossible! So hard to stay motivated sometimes, but tonight I met my best friend for cups of tea, mag exchange (we do this regularly) and a REALLY bad film, Sidewalks of New York.

This is my cheer-up prescription. Hope it helps you too! (imdb sidewalks of new york for a giggle)

I particularly love your outfit posts & photography...more please! also house shots x

I've also had those days before, I think it's perfectly normal. Chocolate (esp dark) always works on my sad days.

I wish we can all be happy all the time but I know this is not possible. All we can do is count our blessings and move on. Every day is a posibility for something new and thats the great thing about life.

I'm so sorry you're having a bad day. Having them in spring almost makes it twice as bad, as you always feel you ought to be happy as winter is ending. Flowers often do help, though, and yours are so pretty!

I discovered your blog a few months ago, and I absolutely adore it. You do take some of the most beautiful photos, darling, keep up the good work! I especially like the one-photo-each-hour posts, and I think I might start doing the same (linking back to you as credit for the idea, of course).

I hope your Wednesday will be better than your Tuesday was!

Sad to know you have a bad day. But the too long winter is ending and sun is coming to warm us.. This vase is cute.

I really love your blog, especially your outfit and vintage finds. You always post such beautiful photos.

Sorry you had a sad day, but I definitely get those too. In fact I had mine yesterday as well... what a coincidence! Maybe it was the constallation or something. Flowers definitely help, as does good chocolate or a cupcake ;-)

I love flowers on a "sad day"; my favorite kind are sunflowers. Hands down, make me instantly happy. :) Hope you've perked up some!

I've never actually bought flowers just for the heck of it.. I only just realised that! When I'm having a sucky day, I either resort to music, or a book. My non fail book is I Capture The Castle. xx

It's more than okay to be sad sometimes- who isn't? It's just important to pick yourself up again, when it's necessary.

I hope you're better already!
