Alice

Despite the Alice in Wonderland hype now drawing to a close, it hasn't deterred me from remembering with fond memories, my enjoyment of the books Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass in my childhood. So when I visited my parents for the Easter weekend, I dug out the books and had a browse through some of the pages again.

  8. I'm quite glad the hype is going down - I love Alice anyway but it tends to put me off when things get too popular.

  13. Wow, your book is in excellent condition! I've always wanted to read those books, but never got a chance to.

I've always had a liking for Alice in Wonderland, after all my mother claims that's where she got my name from.

  23. I love this series of pictures! Especially the mini-me teacups and deck of cards.I never read Alice in Wonderland as a kid (though I knew the storyline), but I've been wanting to pick it up lately (I guess due to all the re-hype!). Sometimes, the added exposure is great for people like me to rediscover old classics :)

  34. My dad left our family when I was 10. He gave me two books one was the Omar Kayam and the other was Alice in wonderland/Through the looking glass.
He told me that all I would need to know about life was in those books. I still love them and so does my dad but he disputes that he ever gave me that advice!
