I have mentioned already my current obsession with red lips and nails. My previous buys were more of an orange-red shade, so I decided to invest in a pink-red shade as a cooler alternative.
I chose the new Chanel Coco range in the colour Byzantin to roughly compliment my Lotus Red Chanel nail polish, as worn in my last post.
Bold lips are a look I really love so I was pleased to see it showing as a major trend on the AW 10 runways...

I wish I weren't so pale, otherwise I would wear bold lips more often! But usually I regret wearing it, have to rub it all off, and end up with irritated, red skin all around my mouth, haha. But I do agree with you - it is so beautiful and classic!

i've been all about statement lips lately. i've acquired quite the collection: blacks, deep purples, fuschia, orange, and even yellow.
i'm really a fan of experimenting with new, bold colors. should be a fun spring and summer!

great photos. I have always wanted to wear that bold red lipstick, but, being so white skinned and pale and red haired, feels somehow strange. This shade seems so Hollywood glamorous, reminding me of vintage movies :)

senorita fashionista - i find myself being ruled by chanel colours, so for nails especially i will follow their lead! i very much stick to pink lipstick shades for my colouring usually.
vicki - yes, i think it is very difficult to find a good shade that suits - perserverance is key!
i'm mad about these new range of chanel lipsticks. will be mine very soon. :) love the colour you've picked, really bold but not too bright (which doesn't suit me). i'm gonna have a look at it when i'm browsing the counter.
