Another week, another collaboration. Next week sees the launch of Giles Deacon's 9th collection for New Look and I have to say the most impressive of the collections so far.

These are just a few of my favourites from the collection, based around 'the louche London vibe that is around at the moment - modern British glamour at it's finest'.

The collection focuses on dresses, my main wardrobe staple, the cut and design of the garments look a lot higher-end than the prices would suggest.

Gold by Giles will be available in New Look stores nationally and internationally as well as online.

I've tried checking out his collab in New Look before, but somehow New Look stores scare me (too much stuff and too many people...). I do like some of these dresses though. Perfect for a night out!

I am biased but I think this is a WAY better one-sleeve striped dress than that top one: http://francisnewyork.com/blog/2009/10/buy-it-now-one-shoulder-zig-zag-dress/

That one looks so shiny and cheap to me. Sorry!

Oh dear. They had better not ship to North America, cause if they do, my shopping ban is out the window!

Thanks for your comment ;)

The dresses are great.

One technical qstn, what effect did you add to your pics? (previous posts) or it is just the ligthing and color combination? They look great!

Saludos,
Clau!

The black beaded dress and earrings are immense. Not too blown away by the rest of it, but the materials and workmanship look good. xxx

hs- yes, i find most of the high street shops a little too hectic for my liking, i try to go at quiet times

wendyb - controversial! yours is nice also, but i'm sticking with my theory that is a good collection. lower priced items in white can often look cheap i agree, i guess it will depend what it's like in the flesh

clau - thanks! i've been using analogcolor to edit
