Shopping Regrets

Photobucket

Photobucket

It has been a little while since I visited Montmartre in Paris and yet looking at these photographs I took in a little shop there, I regret not buying one of these gorgeous tea sets. They were a little expensive I had thought at the time and I really do not have any room in my flat for yet more tea pots and cups. Every time I go to the flea-market or vintage shops, my eye is always drawn to old fashioned crockery that my grandmother would have loved. Do you ever have shopping regrets once you have returned home?

  2. oh, the tea set looks so gorgeous!

and yes, I often have shopping regrets too. I always take a long time to decide, and when I don't buy it, it keeps playing on my mind!

  3. I HATE when that happens!!! That's the worst. I do this all the time, and have my whole life. I still remember a denim dress from the 8th GRADE that my mother wouldn't buy me, and I swear, I'd still be wearing it to this day (if it still fit.) XO!

  4. Yes, there have been many times! I have deep regrets especially when a store runs out of stock of that certain coveted item.

Those tea sets are darling. :)

  6. That tea set is like nothing I've ever seen before - it's amazing.

I've not had any regrets recently but I do always get them. I love junk of any kind and would buy everything in sight but I have to muster my self control.

I can't believe you get called Morticia - it's a compliment as she is the coolest goth in history. You have better hair though!

  7. i found the perfect mexican embroidered dress in a charity shop the other day, it was only £12 but I had bought so much already so I left it behind. Now i have big time regret! :(

And i really can never resist a good teacup. In my head i'm saving them up for the day i have a massive shelving system to show them all off! X

  8. I have them all the time. I decide I'm going to think about something....and then I go back and it's gone. Sigh.

  9. Yes, of course. It happens all the time. I like the tea cups but they look to fragile and easy to break. Don´t feel bad.

  12. I always buy a shitload of stuff when I'm abroad, because I'm always afraid I'll regret not buying things. Hahahaha.

  13. I get that a lot when visiting other countries. I somehow think I'm wasting money and that it's all stuff I don't need, but when I get back, I realize it would have been a nice souvenir and that I"ll probably never find it anywhere else.

But worse case... if you have huge regrets not getting those, you can always ask me to send them over! ;-) The tea seats are so adorable!

  17. They are really lovely & unique looking tea sets.
I'm plagued by shopping regrets every Sunday (market/car boot sale day), it's a real pain!
In my case I think it might actually be a bit of an OCD related thing.
I obcess over the things that I didn't buy rather than enjoying the things that I did manage to bag for hours on end sometimes.
I'm sure you'll find an equally beautiful tea set soon, so don't beat yourself up about it...xXx

  19. Hmmm I have a bit of a tea set obsession. I have to keep having garden parties so that I have an excuse to unpack them. The Paris tea set looks exquisite and very expensive. Lovely, lovely pictures as always
