Lula 9

So finally the wait is over, for the next six months at least. And of course the latest edition of Lula does not disappoint but then that is a given with this magazine. A tribute to all that is Karen Elson - her style, her friends, her red hair and anything else that could possibly be related.

I just love these words, 'She was born to be my unicorn'

Interview with Karen Elson's old friend, YSL Creative Director, Stefano Pilati

Vintage shopping

A penchant for silent film stars - I imagine Rhiannon to love this piece

The friends of Karen Elson

After watching The September Issue at the weekend, I was overjoyed to see the legend that is Grace Coddington, she must be the prototype Lula girl

Fantastic fashion - I adore this shade of green; how amazing are the polka tights with wedge heels

Interview with Rachel Korine - I seriously must buy this dress from Top Shop

Night-time glamour

After discovering the magazine in my local Borders this evening, I rushed home to photograph and post some of the pages. I haven't even had the chance to have an in-depth look yet. This is a magazine that needs to be savoured, perfect for a cosy night in, cup of Ladureé tea in hand, listening to the rain outside - much like tonight!

*Edit: the dress is from Closet Case Vintage in Nashville and not from Top Shop as the magazine states. Boo! I guess I will not be buying this dress afterall!

I love lula, too bad that they don't let me subscribe since I live in Norway(stupide Norway, so fareaway from everything)
And they don't have lula in the newsstands either:(

I need to see where I can find this in Paris. Lula is so terrific... thanks for the preview via your photographs! All the images are so beautifully done and I love the general layout of text vs. photos. I had no idea Borders started selling this either...

Hello!

The dress Rachel Korine is wearing is NOT from topshop, but from a vintage clothing company called CLOSET CASE VINTAGE in Nashville TN.

It happens to be my company and I couldn't be more annoyed with the stylist's mistake.

Great blog though!

I wanted to buy it today, but they want 20! euros in Germany. I guess I'll have to wait until I'm in the UK at the end of the month.

Hiyy

i love this magazine and find its really inspiring for my art course at school!

also that girl, Rachel Korine, on those photos i swear she looks like my identical twin. My friend spotted first, when she opened the magazine she shouted OMG at the top of her voice! ive googled her a couple of times and the photos of her dont resemble me as much!

anyway keep blogging!
