An English Girl in Paris - Part Trois

My final day, starting with a trip to Montmartre. Again, a tourist haven but one I wished to re-visit, envisaging Amelie running through the streets. A highlight of my trip I think, sitting in a carriage on the carousel with the Amelie soundtrack playing along.

The weather being as glorious as it was, a boat trip to enjoy the breeze and look at all the wonderful views from the Seine.

What I was most looking forward to was the infamous visit to Ladurée. If you have a sweet-tooth like me, there is no place better for delightful pastries, macaroons and tea.

I did not come away empty handed of course. I had to buy more macaroons for my journey home as well as the Marie Antoinette tea, as suggested by new friend Valentine, now I can enjoy the Ladurée experience at home.

The final night was spent looking at the amazing sights of Paris at night, wishfully pondering my next visit...

YAAAAAY!!! :D

You bought the Marie-Antoinette tea!!!
I just discovered, reading the bottom of the box, there were ingredients (citrus, rose, honey...)!
Haha, I didn't know that, but I love that tea (the smell isn't very nice, it's smells a bit like w.c perfume! ^^)

Montmartre is like a small village within the city, I just love walking over there.

You MUST watch E.T : it's such a lovely film, and E.T is really friendly and funny!!!
Watch it, please!!! :)

Gorgeous photographs again! The Seine cruise is so wonderful... I always recommend it to people who aren't spending that much time in Paris. I went myself again last year... so lovely. I also adore Laduree (I'll probably get some Macarons today), although you are luckier than some... doesn't London have a branch as well?

Sorry to hear about the Chanel thing... I hate hyping myself to finally buy something only to realize it's not available anywhere. Hopefully the London stores will get it in (at the current exchange rate, it should be slightly cheaper in the UK anyway). Hope you have a lovely weekend! :)

Aw! I'm so envious, your trip looks like a dream, and I think I would spend all my money on macaroons and tea :)

I really, really want to go to Paris again after reading this post (and the other two).... it's so amazing.

I wanted to go on the Montmartre carousel when I was there, but there were too many pigeons around so I decided against it. Too bad.

Oh, and Laduree.... I wish I'd bought the tea when I could have. IT's just so sad that Laduree is so ridiculously expensive.
