Sometimes, the world of the web just doesn't fail to surprise. In my short time in the blogging world, I have made some lovely friends and contacts, Secrets of a Butterfly being one of them. Finding out it was my birthday last week, she put together this wonderful Polyvore, so much to my taste - thank you so much Kat for your kind thought!
On a side note, I thoroughly enjoyed the film yesterday. It was an interesting insight into Chanel's early life and presented a humane side to the image of the hardened business woman that we mostly see. As the film was mostly about her early life, there is actually not too much focus on the designs of Chanel, although the end scene is a definite feast for the eyes. Audrey Tatou lived up to expectation in her performance, I can think of nobody better to play this role. I only wish there could be a follow up film to watch more of the designer's later life, as it is apparent that she led the most amazing and glamorous life.
