Following on from the Cloche Hat post, this is the bag that completed the outfit. This is the only Luella piece that I own. A pity, as her last few collections have been right up my street, the perfect mix of girly with an edge. I think possibly more to do with the fact that there is no major Luella stockist near to where I live and of the course the prices are typical designer prices so really sale time would be the only option.
I found this a year ago at one of those designer outlet places. The lilac version was reduced massively, due to possible colour fade. It also came in black at a higher price but it was this lilac version that took my eye anyway, I really like the key and chain feature on it. I took a chance on the colour fade issue, hoping it would only give it a more vintage-y appearance and so far it has aged well and was definitely a good purchase.
I don't use it too often as it is a colour that doesn't always suit what I'm wearing and it is a much smaller size than I normally like - but for those ladylike days where only a cloche hat and neat handbag will do - this is the one!
