Liberty of London

I was looking through some inspiration picture files and came across these images of the London store Liberty. These are not my photographs but I haven't saved the details of where I found them, so I'm unable to credit as I usually would.

It is one of my favourite shops that is made all the more special by the fact that I don't live in London and so every visit is special. I was last there for my birthday last summer and although I didn't buy anything I did see the lovely Alexa Chung, who looked equally as stunning in the flesh as we see her in so many magazines.

I could quite literally spend a fortune in there, the buyers are so spot on with their choice of pieces for the store. More recently, their own brand has become very appealing to me especially in the leather goods department. I love the tooled patent leather they did a little while ago. It is just a pity that I can't always justify the hefty price tags.

I am next due a visit in May when I visit London to see Depeche Mode, Liberty will definitely be on my clothes shopping list. For the time being I will just have to be satisfied with looking at these lovely shots.
