Fuschia & Lace

So today I decided to inject a bit of colour into my otherwise dark outfit by pairing some black lace tights over some fuschia pink opaques. I finally got around to having the Furstenberg dress that I bought recently at the Vintage Fair shortened to make it wearable. The fabric is very fluid and slinky and quite clingy, I may need to try wearing something underneath the next time I wear it. The tights were a lot more vivid than they appear in the photographs, so my male colleagues at work had lots of laughter, calling me Grotbags, a witch from an old tv programme from my childhood and explaing that Halloween had already passed. I suppose wearing Chanel's Black Satin nail varnish didn't help either.
