I went to see the epic blockbuster film Australia yesterday. I felt the need to make a post as it quite literally took my breath away. Despite having all the necessary elements of a film, action, romance, trauma, war etc, it was not a film that immediately appealed to me but I'm so pleased I went to see it.
As well as being visually stimulating and heart-wrenching at times, there was fashion to be had - always something that keeps my attention. Most of the outfits worn by Nicole Kidman's character Sarah are displayed in the early part of the film, as she realises that there are many more important things in life than the materialism she is used to.
Up until that moment of clarity, check out a few of her ensembles below. Set in the glamorous 1930's decade, the cut and design of the clothing is remarkable and suits her slender frame. Even her luggage is designed by Prada especially for the film - it is beautiful.
I have included a picture of the Aboriginal, as you will see if you go to see the film, he has a style of his own.
